Whistler
Radar/Laser Detector XTR690
The Whistler High Performance Laser-Radar Detector can detect
all common frequencies that cop radar use.
You'll find the XTR-690 easy to operate and learn. This unit
incorporates a mode called POP Mode Detection.
Old radar guns spit out a continual stream of RF energy to acquire
the speed of their target. Newer guns check the speed differently,
they transmit RF in burst at the target. Older radar detectors
do not have this capability and will leave you with a fat ticket to
pay, no so with the XTR-690.
The display text conveys valuable
information about radar traps down the road. The unit has
voice alerts so you don't have to take your eyes off the road.
Do you really want to take your eyes off the road if you're
speeding?? The XTR-690 has three city modes to help reduce
false alarms when traveling around town. 360 degree
