Adding a waypoint (Adding Wichita VOR)

1. ROTATE the Left Outer knob to the Flight Plan Pages.

2. ROTATE the Left Inner knob to select the flight plan to be modified.

3. PRESS the left  to enable the left cursor function.

4. ROTATE the Left Outer knob as necessary to position the cursor over the waypoint that will follow the waypoint to be added.

5. ROTATE the Left Inner knob to enter the first digit of the new waypoint As you turn the waypoint one click, the waypoint that was highlighted and all subsequent waypoints shift down one position and the first letter of the alphabet appears. See below.

 

6 Use the Left Outer and Inner knobs in the normal manner to DIAL IN the remainder of the waypoint identifier (ICT for the Wichita VOR)

7 PRESS . The right screen will describe the waypoint entered. If it is the desired waypoint PRESS  again to approve the waypoint page. If a mistake was made press  and start over.

8. PRESS the Left  to turn of off the left cursor function.
